The Fleet

Choose your boat

Three boats, named for the wildlife of the Shannon Callows. All silent, all electric, all yours for the day.

Electric

The intimate one

The Kingfisher

Up to 5 passengers

Named for the bird that holds the cut banks along this stretch: a blue line low over the water, gone before you have finished pointing at it. Kingfishers pair up and keep a territory together, which is more or less who this boat is for. The Kingfisher is our smallest and most intimate, the one couples choose for a quiet afternoon, and the one to take if you want to sit still long enough for the river to forget you are there.

Most Popular

The family favourite

The Lapwing

Up to 7 passengers

Named for the acrobatic lapwing: social, instantly recognisable by its iridescent plumage and tumbling flight displays. The Lapwing is our most popular boat. It's the one families choose, with room for the kids to move around safely and enough space for a picnic. Stable on the water and easy to handle, even for first-timers.
